Rich Piggy

Conrad's nephew and niece were over for the weekend and we had a blast! They made homemade pizzas, breakfast, arts and crafts at home depot, went to the Long Beach Aquarium and did crafts at home. My sister and Conrad always try to plan fun and active activities when they are around. I always enjoy it when they come over because they enjoy doing crafts just as much as I do! They are hilarious and a joy to be around! This weekend, I guided them through a up-cycle craft with used juice bottles, mod podge, food coloring, tissue paper, felt, googly eyes and polymers clay! What better way to teach kids how to save money than to create a piggy bank! Here are photos of their finished product!

We used polymer's clay for the pig's feet and tail and felt for their ears. I hope this inspires you to do it this summer with some kids around the block!

Til our next Hello,
